You're never too old for some things!

"Though children are often seen as foolish, none of us fully grow out of that youthful state."-Jordyn Brown
So, the sun was out and shining and boy did it lift my spirits! This weekend was an amazing up for me. Saturday was family fun night and I got to see one of my good friends Westly that I haven't seen since before football season, and I seriously have missed that kid. That completely made my month. So, since the sun was out Alina decided that Sunday would be a fun day to go to the zoo! We were only there for a little bit, but boy did we have fun! :)
Me&Lee.
Her chipmunk friend.
GOATS! :D
MORE GOATS! :D
Bearsss. :)
HAHA! I thought this was the funniest thing! :)
Fact: While we were here, we saw two lorikeets mating.
Fact: First time it's ever landed on me! :)
Turtles.
We got really good pictures of the animals this time! Usually we BARELY see the giraffe!
But it got really close to us this time! Barely any zoom! :)

No doubt we had a lot of fun enjoying the sunshine!
I got burnt, but it was all worth it.
Looking so forward to summer!
54 days counting today! :)
peace.

Did you know...

"We think, we become." -Buddha
Are you aware of the Law of Attraction? We learned about this in Leadership today. Basically, to sum it up, the Law of Attraction is this:
Thoughts become actions.
I know this is going to be hard to comprehend, but I realized that I completely understand it.

Basically, what you think is what determines what happens to you and others. If you were to think things in as I would put it "yes" language, as opposed to "no" language the outcome will be better. An example would be that if instead of thinking the phrase "I hope I don't do bad.." (no language) you would think the phrase "I hope I do well..." And with that, you will get that good outcome. Basically, whatever your dominant thought is-controls the events that follow.

And this has physically and scientifically been proven.
Whoa. This completely makes sense.
I'll go into more depth about it later, but that's just a little something for your thoughts. ;)

Happy Easter! :)

"Other things may change us, but we start and end with family."-Anthony Brandt
Many people have their Easters on well, Easter. But we decided that Sunday wasn't going to be too pretty (which it wasn't) so we would have our family Easter party on Saturday instead. So basically, it was pretty fun. Lots of laughs were shared as always with my family, and we got PLENTY of great pictures of everybody! :) Here's some of them:
Alina came to Easter too!
This is what my family does for fun. xD
Peyton's first real Easter! :)
The boys.
The girlss:)

Those are just a few, and I've finally figured out how to arrange photos on this thing! But it's still not my greatest skill yet, so it's very tedious and time consuming. I think I'm missing something about it. Idk. Oh well! This should tide you over and give you a feel of how we spend our holidays! HAPPY EASTER! :)

You make me happy, when skies are gray!

"Happiness is like perfume: You can't give it without getting a little on yourself." -Unknown
Oh what a beautiful past few days it has been! The sun has finally peeked out from behind those dreary winter clouds to enlighten and uplift us all into its joyful, sunny ways! All has been going well here. It all started on Saturday when I awoke to the sunlight streaming in my window. I decided to wear my short sleeved shirt that day when I went out with Mel and Barb to meet the photographer for the wedding. We met at a Starbucks and had loads of laughs and talked business. She's a very spirited woman and we're all exited for her services. Then, when we got home later that day-the neighbors and our family decided to do yard work and make our lawn and flower beds presentable once more. But, as many of you may know-yard work is not exactly my ideal time consumer for a beautiful, radiant day such as that Saturday. So, instead-I "supervised" the labour while basking in the glorious sunlight indulging in my book. :) Wonderful.
Sunday rolls around and yet AGAIN it is amazing weather! The boys (JD, Dad, and Jake) all went up to the mountains to go shooting earlier that morning while the girls (Mel, Rusti, Jaden, and I) all hung back to enjoy the comfort of our own homes. Not the ringing of firing shotguns in our ears.. But this day was MUCH too gorgeous to waste away inside, so Mel&I put on our flip flops and shorts and walked down to the new coffee place down the street from us. Crossroads coffee. There, we got some colder coffee as well as some incredibly satisfying wraps that were unbelievably healthy. It was great. :) We were on our way to walk down to the library to register me for a card, but we realized once we got there that it was closed. But we had a great walk nonetheless. :)

The much dreaded Monday came and I felt so incredibly ADHD being forced to remain seated inside of a compact portable while so much is outside! I constantly found myself out of my seat... but I think many of my teachers are getting used to it. Much to my pleasure, I've been able to wear skirts these past two days. :) Monday after school I met up with Alina and we went on a walk, neither of us realizing that flip flops are not the shoes for walking. But it was all fun anyways. I also hung out with her today after school. We picked out a song for me to sing for the talent show.
Also, I've been advertising myself... I am utterly broke. So any jobs would be appreciated. Babysitting, painting planters (I'm doing this for my Grandma) or anything of that nature. Jo's Jobs.
So, if you would like any assistance- please email me at yordyn.brown.115@gmail.com.
Much appreciated. :)
Well, I guess it's time for me to bid farewell and hope desperately for more sun. Please! :)
